"While working to form a new athletic conference, we secured the services and consulting expertise of ASC. We were extremely pleased with their assistance and timeliness in helping us achieve our goals within a realistic and feasible budget. ASC was a trusted and valued resource in helping us develop membership goals, budgets, new bylaws, name and logo development, as well as a successful commissioner search. The ASC staff prepared us with just what we needed so our new commissioner could make immediate progress. ASC understands conference office operations and they were a tremendous asset for our leadership group.  I am pleased to say we now have a vibrant and growing conference thanks in part to ASC's important efforts."

Kurt Patberg is the primary consultant on this project which began this past August and will run over the next two years.

Prior to July 1, 2015 the member institutions of University of Findlay, Hillsdale College, Lake Erie College, Ohio Dominican University and Walsh University announced they will exist the GLIAC to join the GMAC beginning the 2017-18 academic year. These departures follow the exit of Malone University who will join the GMAC for the 2016-17 season.

The GLIAC, following the departure of these institutions, will have ten member institutions and looks to grow to twelve with possible growth to fourteen. The GLIAC has had multiple applications and will evaluate those applications over the course of the 2015-16 academic year.
