Tammy Ikerd is ASC’s primary NCAA Division II compliance expert. Ikerd in her full-time capacity is employed at Southern Nazarene University is the Associate Athletic Director, Director of Compliance and Senior Woman Administrator. Ikerd has been with Southern Nazarene since 2013.

Ikerd’s previous experience was at Southwest Baptist University where she spent 16 years working for the athletics department in various roles. The last seven years she served as the Director of Compliance. Her last year she was the Assistant Director of Athletics for Compliance as well as being named the interim Head Softball Coach for the 2011-12 season. In her only year as a collegiate coach she led the Bearcats to a 16-30 record. Her previous duties included serving as interim SWA; athletics finance director, and ticket manager, providing game supervision and administration, as well as traveling with the women’s teams. 

Ikerd earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southwest Baptist in 2009 and holds memberships in both NAAC (National Association of Athletics Compliance) and NACWAA (National Association of Collegiate Women’s Athletic Administrators). She is also a 2010 graduate of the NACWAA/NCAA Institute for Administrative Advancement and has participated in leadership programs such as the NCAA Leadership Institute (2009) and the MIAA Professional Development Institute for Female and Minority Coaches (2011).  She also served on the MIAA committee commemorating the conference’s centennial celebration of 2012. 

Ikerd and her husband, Bart, have two sons, Logan and Sean and a daughter, Sami. Their daughter and son-in-law, Clint have three children.
