landmark2Athletic Staffing and Consultants (ASC) has been selected to assist in the search for the next commissioner of the Landmark Conference. The Landmark Conference which was formed in 2005 is seeking its’ second full-time commissioner.

Bryon Grigsby, President of Moravian College, and Pam Samuelson, Landmark Conference athletic director representative will lead the search and is being assisted by Dr. Kurt Patberg, ASC’s Senior Vice President, who will be assisted by ASC’s Kim Fierke.

“We are pleased to have been selected to conduct the search for the next Landmark Conference commissioner,” explains Patberg, “As with all of the searches we have been entrusted with, our goal is to find the right leader that will be able to grow with the conference and its’ member institutions.”

The Landmark Conference is a NCAA Division III conference that currently has eight private institutions located in the Mid-Atlantic region. The search process will be completed this spring with an anticipated start date of June 1.

"By using their [ASC's] knowledge to get to our short list of candidates that fit what we sought in an athletic director, we easily spent half the amount of time that is normally required in a search like this.   Additionally, they enhanced the pool of by bringing several qualified candidates to the finalist list.  Showing that they know talent, two of the individuals that they sought out, and applied to our position, were hired by and are current NCAA Division II AD’s.  Our search finished with securing a quality hire.  If our institution ever needed to conduct a search for an athletic director, we would without question use the services of ASC."
